Wet Room Construction
“We are very pleased with our new bathroom. We picked the various items and Kelvin fitted them and coordinated all the trades with a fantastic result that is pleasing and practical”. Mrs Evans, St Asaph.
With the wide range of build-in bathroom appliances and materials today we can construct your bathroom or wet room to your customised specification and address all elements in a single process involving all the skilled trades that are required.
Building: Where a shower base is required the floor will be excavated to accommodate under-floor pipe work, drainage and shower tray. The sub floor and plumbing are sealed and the pre-tile surface is rendered with suitable material. If necessary we will alter wall lines and plaster.
First fit Plumbing and Electrical: Prior to tiling and plastering the electrician and plumber will pre-fit pipes and cables running to the final locations; at this stage it is quite easy to accommodate any special items rather than channel walls and fit that heated mirror or shaver socket later.
Floor and Wall Tiling: Using bathroom cement and grout to match the tiles of your choice we cut and fit tiles around the first fit pipes and wires. The tiles are evenly spaced using removable spacers and grouted with water proof material.
Final fit: Shower fittings, toilet and hand basins are installed and all electrical and plumbed connections are tested.
By following the sequence above we can quickly and economically install your customised North Wales bathroom to perfection so please do contact us when you are thinking about a new bathroom or renovation of an existing bathroom.
